Third Trinity is a solo play written and performed by Teo Castellanos with direction and dramaturgy by Mac Arthur Genius and Oscar Winner, Tarell Alvin McCraney. Third Trinity was adapted from a feature-length screenplay written by Teo based on his family’s real-life events. This production is steeped in ritual, filled with musical and filmic language, and era-related songs, telling a unique Miami story of the Puerto Rican struggle for independence, drug smuggling, and the timeless tale of brotherhood. The screenplay is currently being produced into a short film. Third Trinity is currently not available for touring.
Teo Castellanos' one man show depicts his family and the tragedies he and his brothers faced together.
